18 teams [27 people] from across the region signed up for the sixth Startup Central Victoria Pre Accelerator Program. READ MORE about the teams.
The opening bootcamp was held on Sunday 24 May with guest presenters, Kerry Anderson [KA Rural Enterprises], Blair Smith [Greywoods] and Stef Cola [Ligantic] assisting participants to actively work on their startup ideas to test and progress to the next step.

Kerry discussed the difference between innovators and entrepreneurs and the importance of getting the right mix of skills in a startup team. Blair stepped participants through the process of articulating the problem they are solving and defining their value proposition. Stef explained the Pull methodology of testing the validity of a solution and reminded us that the best test of all is a customer being prepared to pay for a product or service.
Special thanks to La Trobe University and the Emporium Creative Hub for use of their wonderful facilities.
On Tuesday 26 May the teams logged in for their first online masterclass with Craig Hunter from Loddon Campaspe Partnerships who talked about Vision Culture and Risk.
Over the next two months, the teams will explore a variety of topics thanks to the business professionals and mentors who are donating their time to help strengthen our ecosystem.
Everyone is welcome to attend the Regional Showcase on Friday 31 July in Bendigo to learn more about their startup journeys.
