In this month’s startup chat, Tania Stacey from East Forged Pty Ltd generously shares her journey in partnership with co-founder Kym Cooper. Working remotely between Queensland and regional Victoria has not impeded their success as they have navigated research, production, distribution, finance and marketing.
A slightly “crazy” craft brewer and support of the Maxi IGA and Super Hero Vietnamese Restaurant in Castlemaine also helped along the way. In Tania’s top tips she talks about the benefits of participating in an accelerator program to tap into a supportive network, the importance of distinctive branding, and not being afraid to seek out grants and investors.
