Excitement is building in Central Victoria as expressions of interest open for Startup Central Victoria’s 2023 Pre Accelerator Program.
What startup ideas are bubbling away in the region? Will they take a leap of faith and commit?
Startup Central Victoria Manager, Kerry Anderson, says that the program is open to adults (18+) who live or work in the Loddon Campaspe region, and have a startup idea that they would like to progress.
“Prior experience is not required. Anyone with a great startup idea will benefit from this free 13-week program. Each week an expert presenter from the region will take participants through the vital building blocks of a startup,” she explained. “Likewise, an applicant may be someone already experienced in business but wanting to launch a new product or service to a global market.”
The pre-accelerator program commences in early July and will conclude in October. With the support of funding through LaunchVic and regional business professionals contributing their services, the program is being offered free of charge.
The 90 minute masterclasses will take place in central Bendigo on a designated evening that best suits and will also be made available to regional participants online. Experienced business mentors will be available to support participants in their startup journey.
“We have some incredibly talented people willing to share their knowledge with you. We encourage anyone with a great idea to put together a support team and lodge an expression of interest,” said Ms. Anderson. “Places are limited so we will be looking for passion and commitment.”
