In this month’s Startup Central Victoria B:B Meetup we heard about a very different pathway into business as Shu Yap shared her journey. A passion turned into a side gig and eventually the universe told her that it was time to make it a business that she now combines with a rural lifestyle in the small town of Guildford, Victoria.
Far from just luck, Interpsycle Astrology has evolved from 20 years of developing an expert knowledge, integrity in the sector, and a relationship with an internationally acclaimed organisation that provides marketing by association for her services. She enjoys diversified income streams, works at times to suit her family, and announced to us that she has an exciting product in the early development stages. Watch this space!
Shu’s 3 tips for startups were:
1. Set boundaries when working in a partnership.
2. Get expert help with the things you don’t know, ie. cyber security.
3. Network with integrity.
