Economic and business advocates from across the region met in May to map what the Startup Central Victoria ecosystem may look like and what we’d like to aspire towards.
Using the Lego Serious Play technique facilitated by Graeme Wiggins at the Bendigo Tech School we discovered that our ecosystem is quite complicated with lots going on behind the scenes that we don’t automatically think of. We also agreed how important it is for us to continue and support this work as individual LGA’s and Business Organisations are stretched with their resources. Startup Central Victoria has been able to draw together and share the knowledge in the region.
The reality is that the whole community has a role to play in building a strong startup ecosystem. Not everyone can be an entrepreneur but we can all be a ‘champion’, ‘enabler’ and ‘advocate.’ Let’s keep up the good work!
